Piano lessons

Since completing a state music exam in 1995, Matthijs is also active as a piano teacher. Being used are tried and tested classical piano methods for young beginners (Folk Dean series) and methods for classical and light music suitable for both adults and children (including Hanon series, Alfred's piano method, the Junior-Jazz method by Herman Beeftink), a selection of recital pieces from his own archive, and also self-written teaching materials. Students who want to develop the music theoretical aspects in addition (or in support) to their main instrument, are also welcome to study the topics listed under 'music theory' on this website.
