Teaching Practice

Introduction Matthijs Rührup is a State-exam Light Music graduate and gives guitar lessons, piano lessons and mandolin lessons in The Hague. The location of his teaching practice is in the Bezuidenhout district (free parking!) and is easily accessible via the A44 - N44 (Rijksstraatweg), the A4, and also the A12 from the towns of Wassenaar, Leidschendam, Nootdorp, Zoetermeer, Voorburg etc. Lessons are given with utmost attention to individual musical development within the musical ability of the student. New students may want to start off with a trial month, and if lessons are continued thereafter, a registration and a one-month's notice is applicable. A full academic year includes about 40 lessons as no lessons are given during the regular (primary) school holidays. Attempts are made to ensure that applicable holiday dates coincide as much as possible with those of primary schools in the region (regio midden), and are always announced and published on this website at the start of each new course year in September.
